Richmond’s development program is completely comprehensive.
From Under 5 to Under 18 and to adult.
Entry-level players, club players and the highest performance: all benefit from developing improved abilities.
Fully integrated with provincial and national level programs.
Core programs reach every player and coach (U5-18).
Supplementary programs from U7: extensive opportunities for more motivated players: 1.5 hours every week.
Targeted programs from Under 11 up tailored to players of differing abilities/priorities.
Recognize that “high performance” means “high responsibility” and “high commitment” from players and the program.
Transitions between different levels encouraged.
Team selections becoming via “constant/extended assessments”.
Coaching development critical component.

Richmond's soccer clubs are active supporters and proponents of the development models of Canada Soccer and our provincial parent body, BC Soccer, which have driven our program.
We encourage all our high performance players to develop the skills and abilities that earn them the honour of playing for BC's provincial teams and for a rare few, for our country. We recognize and welcome our responsibility to help them achieve their goals.
|

|
We congratulate the seven Richmond players currently in the National Training Centre program, which develops players for the Canadian national teams.
See the "Provincial Team Program" link below for the schedule and registration information for evaluation camps for Provincial teams.
