Head Referee George Tweedlie leads Richmond program, in concert with CSA/BC program. - BC Referee Instructor, BC Referee Assessor and Class 2 Referee. Training, mentoring, ID’ing candidates for higher levels. Regular referee certification courses for new and experienced referees. - Mini game referees – Age 12. One day certification course. - 11 v 11 referees – Age 14. Three day certification course. - Annual refresher courses. - Regular referee education meetings. On-going on-field mentoring to improve game-handling skills. Systematic identification of referees with potential to develop to adult games, high level soccer, national and FIFA referee lists.
